About this project

At 4409 Minnesota Avenue NE, Valor developed Engine 27 — a new home for DC Fire & EMS. Valor acquired the undeveloped site in 2014 and delivered the roughly 27,000-square-foot facility across three buildings on a one-plus-acre site, serving the fire and life-safety needs of Washington, DC's Southeast quadrant and beyond. Valor retains ownership and operates the property under a long-term lease with the District's Department of General Services and Fire & EMS Department.
